Roodeplaat Dam in the Pienaars River catchment scheme provides raw water to the Klipdrift WTP via a canal and the Pienaars River. The Klipdrift WTP has a design capacity of 42ML/Water produced at this plant supplies the Modimolle, Bela Bela and City of Tshwane municipalities .
The Roodeplaat Dam also supplies raw water to the Wallmannsthal WTP, which as a design capacity of 12ML/d, via a canal and the Pienaars River. Water produced at the Wallmannsthal WTP supplies the City of Tshwane municipality
