Members of the Board are appointed by the Honourable Minister of Water and Sanitation in terms of the Water Services Act (Act 108 of 1997). The term of office of the Board is for a period not exceeding four years. The Board is made up of 13 Non-executive Board members and one executive member. The Board was appointed on 1 May 2014 and the term of office will expire on 30 April 2018. The following is a depiction our governance structure that consists of our Board, as well as our executive management who is accountable to the Board.
